There was an old woman who lived in a shoe.
She had so many children, she didn't know what to do.
She gave them some broth without any bread;
And whipped them all soundly and put them to bed.
As an adult, when I read the nursery rhymes of my childhood, I realise how grim they could be! However, this artwork is anything but grim. It was illustrated by Jessie Wilcox Smith in 1918. I have scanned it, and digitally restored it, to place on the wall of your child's room or classroom. This is a digital file. No physical file will be posted to you. If you WOULD like that instead, please view the message below. _____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Would you like this artwork professionally printed and shipped direct to you?
